AI Cheer — Privacy Policy

The short version: AI Cheer analyses your videos entirely on your iPhone. Your videos are never uploaded to us, never stored on a server, and never shared. We do not operate accounts and we do not collect your personal data.

Video and photo access

To score a skill, AI Cheer needs a short video. You either record one in the app or choose one from your photo library. That video is processed on your device using Apple's on-device Vision framework, which reads body-joint positions to calculate a score.

Videos are never uploaded to AI Cheer or any third party.
Only the resulting numeric score, skill name and date are saved.
Working copies of clips are held temporarily on your device and cleared automatically.

What is stored, and where

Your scores, streaks, badges, training sessions and profile preferences (first name, level, goals) are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is no AI Cheer account and no server-side copy.

Camera and photo library permissions

Camera access is used solely to record a skill for analysis. Photo library access is used solely to let you pick an existing clip. Neither permission is used for any other purpose, and both can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, AI Cheer sends training reminders and milestone alerts. These are scheduled locally on your device. You can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the one-time lifetime unlock are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles all payment information — AI Cheer never sees or stores your payment details. We receive only whether an active entitlement exists.

Analytics and tracking

AI Cheer does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not sell or share personal information. Apple may provide us with aggregate, anonymised App Store metrics that cannot identify you.

Children's privacy

AI Cheer is used by athletes of many ages. Because the app collects no personal information and stores everything on-device, no personal data about a child is ever transmitted to us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Your control

Because all data is local, you are always in control:

Delete All Data in Profile clears every score and cached clip.
Deleting the app removes everything else.
Manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
